Theresa Layman, a fellow miniaturist has been honored by the United States Postage Service by choosing her Mini Gingerbread cottages for a postage stamp design for Christmas.  She has 4 miniature designs featured on the stamps.    You will remember Theresa from a blog I did around August  of the mini Sampler that was stole from her table and mysteriously returned  to her in the mail.  What an honor for her.  It has turned out to be a good year after all.  I do not know the full story of how she was chosen or what the criteria would be for submitting but I'm sure if  you  Googled  enough it would come up.
Another good piece of news is the Christmas - Winter issue of Mini-ologie is out now and can be ordered from their web site.  I love this new mini magazine.  Published by some very talented and creative artisans is the website to catch a glimpse.  This publication is not by subscription yet but only by the issue.

  1. It's so nice to see these shared in a number of places! These will be perfect for Christmas cards!

  2. I put up a post about Theresa's gingerbread stamps on my blog never realizing she was the one whose item was stolen! I remember reading about it in Yahoo group and making positive affirmations about it.
Always happy for a fellow NAME member and miniaturist. WAY TO GO THERESA! Repeat blessings in the new year!
