Lew Kummerow 1/144" tiny kitchen play set 2015 NAME National Miniature Convention

This is a tiny 1/144" scale 1920's kitchen made by Lew Kummerow.  At the 2015 NAME National Miniature Convention he did a theme luncheon on popular child's kitchen toys of the past 150 years.

It was a delight to see all the pictures of kitchens and salesman samples thru the years.  Always my favorite toys for sure.  This box measures 1-1/2" wide and 2-1/4" long.  This is a souvenir from the luncheon.  In my collection is a cabinet  dollhouse on a table with furniture made as a Convention Souvenir by Lew.  Once again making 550 of anything would be a challenge for me.

The Kummerows have been featured in all the Miniature magazines for many years.  Google search them on line to see articles and image search to see the tiny items they make.
